Camp Tamarancho

Council-owned 400+ acre scout camp. Famous biking trails. Offers archery, rifle, fishing and mountain biking. Pit toilets, water, fire pits on site. Lots of room to spread out. Reserve up to 6 months prior; within 10 days of arrival. Reserve by email staff@boyscouts-marin.org or phone 415-454-1081. Most flexible if we provide shooting range instructors, mountain biking is too hard for most of the scouts. Note: Legendary Camp Ranger.

Spacious group campsites, 8-person adirondack structures, and 4-person Pioneer cabins are a minimum 2-day rental, and are rented by the number of nights. General Check-in is 3pm or later, and check-out is by 12 noon the following day.

Lodges and kitchen are rented by the day, 7am to 10pm.

General program areas can be reserved for day-use as well as by overnight groups. There is no charge for program areas; however, they must be reserved.

For Scouts BSA troops and Venturing crews, rifle and archery ranges can be reserved by calling our Council office. There is a charge for these program areas and they must be reserved at least 1 month in advance.

For day users, there is a per-car charge when you arrive in camp.
